
Magdalena Serwach
Attorney-at-law, Of counselMagda holds a law degree from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. She was an Erasmus scholar at the law faculty of the University of Maribor in Slovenia for a year. For over a decade, she has been an active attorney-at-law at the Warsaw Bar Association.
She has many years of experience in providing legal services to companies from various industries and sectors. She started her professional career while still studying, at a law firm. She specialises in civil and commercial law. She has represented clients in commercial disputes before courts and the Supreme Court.
Since 2010, she has been closely involved in business, supporting international companies and capital groups in Poland and abroad in their day-to-day operations as a legal department director or interim manager. For 10 years, she managed legal services for the Coface Group in Poland. After moving to Nairobi, Kenya, she worked with the legal department of Kenya Airways PLC, advising the Supervisory Board and Management Board of the Kenyan airline on English law during the restructuring of the company and in its day-to-day operations. Working for the Kenyan government, she set up a team and provided legal supervision for the establishment of a law regulating the activities of airports and airlines in Kenya. After returning to Poland, she took up the position of head of the legal department in companies that are the exclusive distributor of Caterpillar machinery and equipment in Poland, supporting the companies in their day-to-day operations, building a team, creating and implementing a legal service strategy in the group, and identifying and implementing around 50 legal service projects.
She works on projects providing legal support to organisations undergoing restructuring, expanding into domestic and foreign markets, and in day-to-day operations, identifying and managing risk, building effective and efficient legal services and in crisis management.
An Africa enthusiast, she supports companies from Central and Eastern Europe investing on the continent. Since 2025 she collaborates with Subteno Legal, mostly in projects related to Africa.
